A total of three brushed direct current (DC) motors can be connected to these (not included in the scope of delivery). The connections are labeled A, B and C.
The motors are controlled via two DRV8833 motor drivers from Texas Instruments. All drivers can be switched off by pulling IO2 to LOW (can only be controlled via software).
The two connections (A and B below) have a maximum output of 1 A each. Connection C has a maximum output of 2 A. The connections are protected against overcurrents.
The output voltage of all motor connections corresponds to a maximum of the battery voltage + 225 mV.
