In the RoboHeart project, technology is being researched that allows any object to be integrated into augmented reality.

The dynamic interaction of the real and the virtual objects is central. Reality connects with virtual worlds, opening up new dimensions in the gaming industry. To make this possible, two pieces are needed. First, a universally usable radio module that can control any radio-controlled toys. The other is a neural network that can detect fast-moving objects in the camera focus of a smartphone. The radio module transmits control of the remotely controlled toys to the user´s smartphone. The smartphone serves as a window into the virtual world, which becomes ever closer to reality through the interactivity of the toys.
